How to find the perfect web host

Posted by Neil in Articles

With hundreds of website hosting companies in the market it is sometimes hard if not impossible to know which web hosting company will provide a dependable hosting solution at an affordable price. Having a domain with a good web host, you will be able to get reports on your site visitors and know which of your web pages your customers are visiting most often, as well as being able to check out many other statistics.

Your hosting company will charge you a monthly fee for services that ranges from $5.99 or $8.99. You will probably pay between $75 and $150 per year for your hosting. You may be able to use free web hosting services, there could be bouts of server downtimes and you’re likely to have substantial limitations in storage, number of email addresses, FTP services and so forth. You should just check out a site like HostingTopList.com where there are current web host ratings of the most popular hosts.

Be sure the host can accommodate e-commerce, storefronts, blogs, forums, chats and anything else you want to add to your website. Calculate what your growth needs are and check that this web host can serve you as your site grows. The last thing you want to do is change hosts mid way unless you absolutely have to do so. Check your bandwidth capacity to be sure that, if your website hits develop rapidly, your customers won’t have to wait to download or view info.

Three things you need to look for in a web hosting company:

1. Top notch Customer Support: Your web hosting provider ought to be there for you 24/7 and give you fast access to the technicians you need to help with any problems you may have. Ask them how long it takes for them to help with your problems. A good test is to call them in the middle of the night to check if you get a real live person.

2. A Sound Infrastructure: Check to be sure they have a multi-homed network powered by multiple bandwidth suppliers to ensure redundancy. Some offer a 100% warranty on their network availability or network uptime.

3. Financial Stability: If you’re running a critical operation, you can’t afford to be with a web hosting company that may have only been in business for a couple of months.

If you are are still confused by the jungle of hosting companies, check out the current rankings for HostMonster. HostMonster is my personal favorite at this time. Good luck finding a quality web host.

Find Water Filters Online

Posted by Neil in Articles

Finding anything online has become very easy nowadays and finding water filters online is no different. There is a danger however in just buying water filters from anybody online because not all water filter products are manufactured equally.
Therefore it is rather important to ensure that you buy your water filters from reputable dealers. But what should you look out for and why is there a danger in just buying from anyone online, after all isn’t all water filter products the same?

The quality of your water filters very much influences the end result of water that you will get. And as you might know more than 70% of your body weight is made up ut of pure water. You would not put just any gas into that nice sports car, would you. Your body is much more worth than any car can ever be, and that is exactly why you must look out for the following when you look for an online dealer.

Find a reputable online water filter dealer

A reputable online water filter dealer can be identified firstly if they offer online chat facilities or an easily accessible online helpdesk. People, who are in the business to make a quick buck, will almost never assist you with online help and answering your queries. They will most probably sell you a low quality filter and the next time you want to enquire abut it, they can either not be reached, or they are no longer in business.

Find Water Filters online by looking for your equipment make.

Always try to find the maker or the brand of your water filter online, by searching for the relevant make. Make a point of asking for a dealer list when you have fund the manufacturer. Most of the reputable manufacturers of water filters and water purifiers will have a list of the distribution agents online. These lists will usually include telephone numbers and email addresses of the water filter dealers in your area.

Is it safe to Find and buy Water Filters online?

It is fairly safe to buy water filters online seeing that most water filters comes wrapped in a thin layer of plastic coating which seals the filter and keeps it clean and safe. If you ever receive a water filter which you have bought online which is not perfectly well packed and sealed, ask the water filter dealer why they don’t do it. You pay for it, and it is a service which you should expect.

Honest Commission Blueprint Discussion

Posted by Neil in Articles

Commission Blueprint was recently released.  This Internet Marketing product is a step-by-step guide that explains a detailed technique for making money using AdWords to drive traffic to ClickBank products.  The creators are ClickBank Super Affiliates, and they show lots of evidence that they have been very successful (including a very impressive screen capture from the ClickBank sales report page.

What do you get for your money?

What you receive for your $77 is impressive. There are 14 videos (4-5 hours total run time), release notes, 3 PDF files, 2 unadvertised bonuses, 4 landing page templates, and slides for all the videos are also provided in PDF. It is total over delivery. It is an amazing amount of quality content, and zero junk. The videos are great quality. You have the choice of watching them online or downloading them and seeing them offline. The format of the video is a slide show presentation with a little video camera box showing the speaker.

He is an excellent “speaker/teacher” and the quality of his presentation is very high. So, for $77 you get a ton of quality content on video and some cool bonuses that seem to give you everything that you need to get started. Question is, get started doing what?

The Commision Blueprint Approach

The approach taken in Commission Blueprint is “simple.” Pick a few items that have a chance to be successful (they explain how to pick products), do keyword research (excellent explanation here as well), estimate ROI, build landing pages (templates included), launch a PPC campaign, spend enough money to “test” the campaign in AdWords ($200-$500), pick a winner, and scale it to make real money. It sounds easy, and the methods presented seem sound, but I am betting that it is harder than it looks. It definately looks harder than Article Marketing.  I plan to try it anyway.

One thing that I liked was the fact that the old approach of “find 50,000 keywords and test them all” is no where to be found here. Instead, you start with a handful of keywords and ads and grow the campaign from there. I like that, although screening products is still a lot of work from what I can tell.

What Is Debt Consolidation And How Can It Help You

Posted by Neil in Articles

We’ve probably all heard the term debt consolidation in the media or from your mailbox. As prices at the pump, energy cost, and even grocery bills keep going up and up, consumers will find their financial budget gets tighter and tighter. Debt, especially credit card debt, starts squeezing the wallet harder every single day. As debt begins to take over, consumers begin to look for some relief. This is where debt consolidation comes into play.

Debt consolidation is the process of arranging bills and debt so that the consumer saves money by combining the bills into one loan or payment. Debt consolidation is primarily used to lower the monthly payments for the consumer or to secure a lower interest rate. The ultimate goal of debt consolidation is to free up money in the budget or pay off debt completely.

Sometimes, people looking for credit card debt assistance will choose to combine that unsecured debt into a loan that is secured. Usually, debt consolidation works this way, meaning that collateral is used as security against the loan. With a home equity loan, the house would become the collateral. For this reason, it is common for mailboxes to be flooded with all types of offers for this type of loan.

With a collateral loan, you would benefit from a lower interest rate since the lender’s risk is not very high. Because these interest rates can be substantially lower, these offers are often quite appealing.

One type of loan that many people get caught up in is the student loan. With four years of college, the expenses for tuition, books, tutoring, and so on, can be overwhelming. However, student loans can be consolidated but because this loan is unsecured, it would be handled differently from a home equity loan.

For students, loans can be consolidated by working with a private lender, usually securing a lower interest rate. However, if a student has gone this route and finds down the road they need to refinance again, they would need to work with the Department of Education since refinancing a student loan is rare. In this particular situation, the loan would be locked into one interest rate, rather than go through the normal financing process.

Even so, many students find debt consolidation to be beneficial, as do consumers who want to lower monthly payments, reduce credit card debt, and enjoy better interest. The truth is that by putting a number of debts into one loan, meaning one payment, offers peace of mind and a budget that can be followed easier. Just remember that sometimes, debt consolidation can only be done using collateral.

The best thing you can do is homework, learning all you can about debt consolidation to ensure you make choices that will help your financial situation. If you do not take action about your debt, you may find yourself in a position where even debt consolidation would not help. Instead of just dealing with a tight budget, start your research to find the best debt consolidation option for your needs.

A New Look for Your Houseplants

Posted by Neil in Articles

When a plant becomes leggy and is branching out a substantial distance form its base, its time to trim it back. Select the stem you plan to cut and use a sharp razor blade or quality pruning shears to make a horizontal cut straight across the stem directly above a node. If you can manage a four or five inch stem from the section you have just pruned, you can use that slip to begin a new plant.

Pinching the process by which the center growth of a young plant is kept low and forced to grow outward rather than up. The center portion of most all plants will grow stronger because it is in direct alignment with the roots and thus obtains more nutrition. If center growth is removed, that nutrition is transferred to the outside growth. If pinching is to be effective you must do it early. Waiting too ling will create the need to cut the plant way back and you will not get your desire effect.

An alternate type of pinching that is done on flowering plants is meant to increase the size of the flowers the plant will produce. If a plant has a large number of buds, you can assure yourself a heartier and more attractive flower if you pinch off some of the excessive buds. This process is meant to produce quality over quantity by allowing the plants nutrients to be divided among a fewer number of tasks.

Air layering is a type of plant propagation that focuses on the appearance of a particular plant instead of increasing the number of plants available.

Air layering, sometimes called Chinese air layering, is a method used to cut back long-stemmed, leggy tropical plants. Several inches below the lowest branches on the plant, you should make a vertical incision about two inches long. This incision should be made in the stem and should be as deep as a third of the stem diameter. Use a plastic paper as a cover (polyethylene bags in which potting soil is distributed are excellent for this function) and bind sphag-num moss around the cut. After you complete the steps, water the plant thoroughly.

Keep the cut covered and keep the plant thoroughly watered for around eight weeks. You will notice that new roots have formed at the sight of the cut and the plant can be pinched off just below that point. You may then plant your new growth in a pot of regular potting soil. The old tropical plant can be discarded if you so choose. There is no set time to perform this type of propagation, most gardeners agree that spring and fall are the best times, but in general, the success rate is steady year round.
