Some natural home type remedies.
During my travels around the net, I have come across a number of all natural allergy remedies, some home treatments for women’s health, such as thrush infection treatments and even a few home remedies for the relief of hemorrhoids. Gee there is some information out there!
Each of these complaints can make you feel very miserable at times. With allergies, including asthma and hay fever, and other common allergies like dog allergies and mold or dust allergies, your eyes itch, your nose runs and you may suffer wheezing and have trouble breathing. Other allergies such as food allergies: peanut, milk and egg are common allergies, can be so severe as to be life threatening, even causing anaphylactic shock. And “piles”, well we all know where they are a pain. Finally there is the “burning” experience of yeast infection.
There are many effective over the counter medicines and prescription drugs available for all of these complaints, but if you are like a majority of people these days, you might prefer to try out some old fashioned natural remedies.
For the relief of some allergy symptoms, and yeast infections, some nutritional supplements may be helpful. Spirulina is thought by some, to prevent the release of histamines, and therefore may reduce the severity of allergy symptoms. Vitamin C is also known to have antihistamine properties, and so may have a similar effect. Lactobacillus acidophilus and quercetin, have also demonstrated an ability to lessen allergy symptoms. For relief from hemorrhoids, Vitamin B6 can help in just a day or two if the hemorrhoids are caused by a B6 deficiency, and vitamin E oil applied topically can also help. For thrush treatment, the thing is to take plenty of probiotics, to help to replenish the good bacteria that your body needs to stay in balance and healthy.
Some herbs, fruits and foods are very useful remedies as well. For treating allergy symptoms, Butterbur has been found, to be just as effective as Zyrtec and Allegra. This is an old folk remedy used for treatment of bronchitis and asthma, but its safety for long term use has not been determined as yet. Goldenseal is a common ingredient used in a number of herbal remedies, used in treating common allergies, because of its immune system enhancing and anti-bacterial qualities. Figs and high fiber foods are great for hemorrhoids, and lime juice and olive oil has also proved to be helpful.Yogurt and the avoidance of sugary foods are beneficial for yeat infection relief.
When considering the use of home remedies, it is important to consider that these natural remedies and treatments, may still cause problems, when combined with other medications or if you have certain medical conditions. Therefore, before taking any herbs or natural supplements, you are unsure of, it is a very good idea to talk with your doctor first, so that you are sure, that they are safe for you to take.
